Refund Policy

1. Booking Payments

Advance booking payments (including first month rent and security deposit) are non-refundableonce the booking is confirmed and payment is processed.

2. Security Deposit Refund

Security deposits are refundable at the end of the rental period, subject to property condition verification and deduction of any outstanding dues or damages.

  • Refund processed within 7-10 business days after move-out
  • Deductions for property damages will be documented
  • Unpaid rent or utilities will be deducted

3. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a booking:

  • Before move-in: No refund of advance payment
  • After move-in: Early termination requires 30 days notice. Security deposit refund subject to terms
  • Platform fees are non-refundable in all cases

4. Subscription Refunds

Owner subscription payments are non-refundable. Subscriptions remain active until the end of the paid period.

5. Payment Gateway Charges

Payment gateway charges (Razorpay fees) are borne by the user and are non-refundable.

6. Disputes

In case of disputes between owner and tenant regarding security deposit refunds, De-Kiraya will facilitate communication but is not responsible for resolution. Users must resolve disputes mutually or through legal channels.

7. Failed Transactions

If payment is deducted but booking fails due to technical issues, refund will be processed within 5-7 business days after verification.

8. Refund Process

All eligible refunds are processed to the original payment method. Timeline: 7-10 business days from approval.
